This 1500 s.f. retail project built in the new Hudson Yards development in Manhattan is a bold and inviting one- stop shop for creative gifts, designer toys, books and globally curated accessories. The central axis lighting feature mimics a runway or roadway from the entry doors straight to the check-out counter. The client requested extremely high light levels at merchandise displays viewed from main concourse– from 100fc up to 200 fc was provided on perimeter shelving and tabletops! Track with flexible LED accent lighting and integrated LED shelf lighting combine to provide a powerful visual draw to shoppers as they pass the store.
